Former Quebec and Canadian government minister, as well as former president of the Commission des Biens Culturels du Québec the Commission Franco-québécoise sur les Lieux de Mémoire Communs, he is also the Founding President of the Société Héritage de Champlain, which is responsible for the creation and development of the Encyclopedia
